Ibrahim (PBUH) is the father of the Prophets. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) named his own son after Ibrahim (PBUH). Prophet Ibrahim is the father of all prophets. All of the prophets come from his nations.
Allah described Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) as a nation. “Indeed Ibrahim was an Ummah (a whole nation in himself…)” An-Nahl:120. The good that comes from that one person is the good that an entire nation will be able to put forth. Some scholars said that all the nations come from Ibrahim (PBUH).
Prophet Ibrahim was worried that no one would succeed him but look at how many do, prophet after prophet that ended with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). All of the prophets were given a special mercy and a reputation of high honour.
