Establishment of Makkah

Allah told Ibrahim (PBUH) to take Hajar and Ismael to the desert from Palestine. Ibrahim took them there and it was very hard for him to leave them but he had too because this is what was commanded of him.

Ibrahim (AS) makes several duas for his family left in Makkah and he made duas for Makkah as a whole. He asks Allah to make Makkah a stable place because it was not yet developed.

What brings people to this barren place? The only reason is because it is such a sacred place of worship for Allah. The hearts of the followers of Ibrahim (AS) would be inclined to go to Makkah for all time.

Ibrahim (AS) asked Allah to make Makkah a secure place. You will always find fruits and vegetables in Makkah despite it being a barren desert. It will always provide for people who go there.

Taqwa – Living the Main Purpose of Ramadan
