Pride
Morocco no doubt have made history and generated an outpouring of pride among Arab and African nations.
Abdel, who travelled form Morocco to watch this game told The Wire, “the Arab world has never been more united, the compassion and togetherness has never been seen in history. Everyone wanted us to win.”
“I’m from Jordan and I travelled over from Dubai to cheer for Morocco. It has united all the countries in the Arab region,” Reema, a Jordanian fan, added.
Ali, another fan from Egypt, said “because we are Muslim and Arab we must support each other. It doesn’t matter that they didn’t win. Thank you Morocco!”
