“I hope to hear from the Moroccan fans in the France and Morocco match prayers upon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as they shake the stands,” Palestinian influencer Mahmoud Al Hasanat said on Twitter, Doha News reported.
Making history in this tournament, Morocco is facing France in a decisive semi-final today.
As defending champions France are looking to reach the final for the second time in a row, Morocco are hoping to secure a spot in the final, breaking another world cup record.

Many have supported the move, with some hoping for the instance to occur in a bid to show respect to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) amid rising Islamophobia.
