When we are born we need someone to take care of us, to feed us and clothe us. Allah has automatically kept a love for babies in the vast majority of the hearts of humans.
Even if you don’t think a baby is cute you are compelled to say “Awww it is so cute!” It is Allah who created this automatic connection.
Allah is the most merciful. The Prophet (saw) compared the mercy of Allah with the mercy of mothers.
