Is Doomsday Near? 10 Major Signs Before the World Ends

Ten major things that are connected to one other as Prophet Muhammad said in a hadith, they are like beads in a necklace, if you cut it all, the beads will start falling one after the other.

That’s how the major signs will occur. The moment one of them will occur, then the other ones will follow.

Hudhayfah narrates:

“Once Prophet Muhammad came to us, and while we were talking about the signs of the Day of Judgement. He told us

The Day of Judgment shall not occur until you see ten signs before it: the smoke, the Antichrist, the beast, the sun rising from the west, the descent of Jesus, son of Mary, the coming of Gog and Magog, and three earth quakes (that shall shake this earth) one of them in the west and in the east and the third in the Arabian Peninsula and the 10th of them, the final one of these signs is a fire that shall appear from Yemen and it shall gather people or force them to go to their place of resurrection (meaning to actual location of where the Day of Judgment shall occur). (Muslim)

The end times is the most dangerous time of all to live. It is the age in which mankind would be tested with the greatest of all tests and trials. Not even the companions of the Prophet Muhammad would have experienced such tests and trials.

And so if you’re living in the end of times, and you’re seeing the tall buildings going up before your very eyes and you don’t wake up to understand the tests and trials which are the greatest of all, then you deserve the fate which surely awaits for you.

The Major Signs of the End Times

The major signs the Prophet Muhammad described it as:

“A cable with beads, if you cut it what happens? All the beads fall but they all linked to one another, so if one come, the others follow.”

Ibn Hajar writes:

“Discussing the order of these events appears from combining all the narrations that the coming of the Antichrist shall be the first of the major signs; that shall signal the changes of the lower world (earth) and that this shall conclude by the death of Jesus, and that the rising of the sun from the west shall be the first of the major signs that shall signal the changes in the higher world (skies) and this shall conclude by the actual Day of Judgment.

And perhaps the coming of the beast, shall be on that very day that the sun shall rise from the west. For the rising of the sun from the west shall signal the closure of the door of repentance.

Therefore after this, the beast shall appear and differentiate between the believer and disbeliever. And this is the perfect conclusion of closing the door of repentance.

And the first of the major signs that shall signal the commencement the Day of Judgment will be the fire that gather people together.”

The Signs will Come One after Another

All of these ten major signs shall occur one after the other in the space of a very short time for as soon as Antichrist appears within the space of, as the Prophet told us, forty days- the first day which is like a year, the second day which is like a month, the third day which is like a week, Jesus will come down and he shall kill the Antichrist and the rest of the signs will follow one after that.

Obviously, we don’t have any precise timeline perhaps the same year, perhaps few years. only Allah knows… But the point being when one of these, the major signs come. The first of them being the coming of Antichrist, the rest shall follow very quickly.

List of Times and Places Where Dua is Accepted

A short reminder regarding the recommended times of dua . And I think what you need to know here is that the recommended times of dua or recommended things that can cause your dua to be accepted, can be divided into two sort of large groups: Am I Good Enough to Make Dua for Myself? Situations where your dua is accepted. Times where your dua is accepted So I’m going to very briefly mention them one after the other as much as possible. As for situations where your dua has been accepted: – The person who has been wronged or oppressed . – A person who finds themselves in severe difficulty after a calamity has struck. – The person who is traveling. – Someone who is fasting. – The one who is reciting the Quran or has just recited the Quran – Someone who is performing Hajj or Umrah or jihad. – The one who is making dua for someone in their absence . Because we know that when you make dua for someone in his absence an angel says: “ Ameen and to you”. – A person...

Ghuraba (The Strangers): Nasheed with English Subtitles

Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings the strangers. (Sahih Muslim 145) This famous nasheed has many versions; this one is from Muhammad al-Salman and has the subtitles in English embedded. [We are] strangers and we do not bow the foreheads to anyone besides Allah  […] Transliteration to help in the pronounciation:  Ghurabaa’ wa li ghairillaahi laa nahnil jibaa Aisha Stacey  wrote in an article for Aboutislam.net : “I think that many of you would agree that being Muslim in the 21st century makes you well acquainted with being strange. It might even be a metaphor for random, as in you have been randomly selected. […] many converts to Islam will tell you about feeling as if they were strangers, before finding Islam. They will speak of feeling that they belonged somewhere else that their lives were just slightly off center. They often speak about a vague sense of knowing they were not like everyone else...
