Ramadan Autour du Monde – La Belgique

La Belgique a été le premier pays européen à reconnaître l’islam comme religion officielle en 1974. Dans la capitale de Bruxelles, vous trouverez de nombreux cafés autour des principaux ronds-points où ils organisent également de grands festivals et défilés. Parmi les bâtiments classiques et les cathédrales gothiques, et les belles maisons d’art, vous trouverez également 350 mosquées.

Musulmans à Bruxelles

Bruxelles est considérée comme la capitale non officielle de l’Union européenne en raison de nombreux sièges qu’elle détient, et de son histoire et de sa valeur touristique uniques.

Les musulmans ont changé la démographie de la capitale bruxelloise car elle se compose d’un quart des habitants. Le Centre culturel islamique de Belgique est considéré comme l’un des centres islamiques les plus importants d’Europe occidentale.

Il existe également des aliments spéciaux disponibles qui sont consommés pendant le mois de Ramadan tels que le kadayif, les dattes, etc. Cependant, les musulmans en Belgique apprécient les boulangeries françaises car elles représentent une partie importante des repas Belges.

Le frère Ibrihim de Turquie partage ce que lui et sa famille pensent de la célébration du mois de Ramadan en Belgique. Ils apprécient l’environnement qu’ils doivent y célébrer. Pour sa femme, le ramadan est une période enrichissante et disciplinée.

Comme dans d’autres pays, la famille d’Ibrihim et d’autres familles en Belgique, terminent leurs journées de jeûne avec le repas traditionnel de l’Iftar. Cependant, cela pèse un peu de ne pas avoir en Belgique la même communauté d’amis et de famille qu’ils auraient eue dans leur pays d’origine.

Après l’Iftar, les familles iront à la mosquée pour prier et réciter le coran avec la communauté. L’expérience du Ramadan et la vie quotidienne des musulmans en Belgique peuvent être différentes de leur pays d’origine, mais c’est une ville accueillante de diversité et d’inclusion.
