El buen carácter es el mejor Dawah

En buen carácter en el Islam y el buen comportamiento son una parte esencial de este y uno de los objetivos a conseguir. Dice Allah en el Corán:

Y no te hemos enviado sino como misericordia para todos los mundos.

Corán, 21:107

Y el Profeta, que la paz sea con él, dijo:

No he sido enviado sino para perfeccionar el buen carácter. 

En otro Hadiz, el Profeta, que la paz  sea con él, dice:

Las personas más amadas y más cercanas a mi en el día del Juicio final son aquellos que tienen los más excelentes y buenos modales y carácter. Y aquellos más alejados de mis son aquellos que tienen un mal carácter y modales.

Y también dijo el Profeta, que la paz sea con él:

No hay nada más pesado en la balanza que el buen carácter.

Se le preguntó al Profeta, que la paz sea con él: ‘¿Cuáles son las mejores acciones u obras?’ y dijo:

Tener Taqwa de Allah y el buen carácter y modales.

Taqwa lo podemos entender como la consciencia reverencial de Allah que nos lleva a actuar  de acuerdo a lo que nos ha ordenado. 

¿Qué es el buen carácter y modales en el Islam?

El buen carácter y los mejores modales nos acercan a Allah y a Su Mensajero. Es seguir el ejemplo del Profeta y tratar a toda la creación con respeto y dignidad. 

Tienen el poder de cambiar nuestra relación con un enemigo y hacer que sea un amigo o aliado. 

Hacen que una persona mala se convierta en buena. Hacen que tus vecinos te quieran. Hacen que los demás no miren con buenos ojos y buena opinión. 

Fue a través del buen carácter y el buen trato que grandes partes de la Ummah entraron al Islam. Países como Malasia o Indonesia entraron en el Islam por el buen trato y la honestidad de los comerciantes musulmanes que iban a ese zona.

Estos comerciantes, muchos de Omán o Yemen, fueron hacia esos lugares y comerciaron con veracidad, confianza y sinceridad, tratando a la gente con buen carácter y buenas formas.  

Fue la sinceridad, el buen trato, la educación, la honestidad, que hicieron que la gente de esto lugares entrarán en el Islam.

Taqwa – Living the Main Purpose of Ramadan

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive.
