Most of us are familiar with the Christian saying that “God is Love”. What about Muslims? Do they believe that Allah is love?
Dr Shabir Ally shows us the verses in the Quran where Allah talks about His love and compassion for His creation.
Yet the Islamic view is much more balanced than the Christian view in that we believe that Allah does not show an all-encompassing love otherwise it would be impossible to punish sinners.
