Why are Fridays so important in Islam? Every Friday a competition takes place. The angels are standing at the doors of the mosques writing down who is going in them to pray.

Friday is the best day of the week that the sun has risen on. Adam was created on a Friday. Judgement Day will happen on a Friday.

Within this day there is a certain hour on every Friday that if you call out to Allah and make dua, you will get it accepted as long as there is no sin in it or there is no evil.

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive. And evidently, to reach a state of taqwa requires vigilance, it requires patience and sincerity.
