Allah Loves to Pardon: Reflections on Laylat Al-Qadr Duaa

God loves to pardon; He loves forgiveness

One of the beautiful differences between God and creation comes in a duaa taught to us by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through his wife, our mother Aisha May Allah be pleased with her.

She asked the Prophet what duaa she should make on the Night of Qadr. He advised her to say, “O Allah! You are the One who pardons greatly and loves to pardon, so pardon me.“

Allah loves Forgiveness and Pardon

We find it difficult to forgive due to our ego.

But Allah Subhanahu wa ta`ala loves that we turn to Him asking for pardon no matter how much or how big the sins and mistakes we do.

Allah’s forgiveness and pardon are limitless. We find it difficult to forgive due to our ego. Allah, however, loves that we turn to Him for pardon.

The only thing holding us back is us.

Taqwa – Living the Main Purpose of Ramadan

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive. And evidently, to reach a state of taqwa requires vigilance, it requires patience and sincerity.
