The event, held on September 17, successfully raised £700,000 to help those affected by the floods.

Unusual heavy monsoon rains have caused devastating floods in both the north and south of Pakistan since mid-June, affecting at least 33 million people.

The country’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said at least 1,033 people have been killed, including 348 children, and 1,527 more injured.
