What is Dhul-Hijjah? It is a very important month in the Islamic calendar. In fact the first 10 days are the best 10 days of the year!
The month of Dhul-Hijjah contains Hajj as well as the celebration of Eid Al-Adha. It is also a time when Muslims offer Qurbani, which helps poorer communities across the Muslim world. This is what Prophet Ibrahim (AS) did to show his devotion to Allah.
Dhul-Hijjah is the last month of the Islamic calendar and one of the four sacred months. In this month, we should try and increase our spirituality and connection with Allah.
In order to do this we can fast, which includes fasting the Day of Arafah, which brings enormous reward. It wipes away the sins from the previous year and this year. We should also pray in the night because it is the equivalent to the Night of Qadr.
We can also make a lot of Dhikr because Allah loves these 10 days and rewards us heavily in them. We should make the most of this month and do what we can to reap all of the rewards.
