Can Women Join the Prayer in Congregation?

A questioner asks if women can join the prayer in congregation if men are already in congregation? Or should women pray in congregation with only women?

If there is a full congregation going on with men then there is nothing wrong in joining that. In fact it is better to join the prayer in congregation rather than praying alone.

It is strange that some people believe it is better to pray alone rather than join congregation. It is actually superior to join congregation than pray alone.

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive. And evidently, to reach a state of taqwa requires vigilance, it requires patience and sincerity.
