Do Fish Drink Water?

You’d think that animals that live in water wouldn’t have to drink it — but some fish do.

Learn from this video how different kinds of fish get the fresh water that they need to survive.

How do fish drink water? Do they drink like us? Do they need the same amount of water? And do all types of fish drink this liquid?

Water is a must in many ways and quantities by living things including fish and sea creatures.

{Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?} [Surat Al-Anbya 21:30].

Water is critical to a number of functions in living organisms. It maintains body temperature, metabolizes body fat, and plays a role in digestion.

It also lubricates and cushions organs, offers a moist environment to regions like the throat, and transports nutrients to the cells.

Moreover, it flushes toxins out of organs. It’s also the final byproduct of cellular respiration, in which the cells metabolize a viable source of energy to power the activities of the body.

Taqwa – Living the Main Purpose of Ramadan

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive.
