You Will Be with Those You Love

There was a companion (ra) who loved the Prophet (pbuh) so much that he couldn’t bear to be away from him. Even when he was with his family, he missed the Prophet (pbuh) and yearned to be with him.
The Prophet (pbuh) knew that he would soon die and his companions couldn’t bear the thought of being separated from him. Such was their love for the Messenger of Allah.
This companion spoke of his sadness at being in a level of Paradise which was lower than that of the Prophet (pbuh). What he said next caused the Angel Jibreel to intervene and convey a message that applies to us all.
