Quran Recitation – Surah An Najm

Here is the beautiful Quran recitation of Surah An Najm. It is recited by Sherif Mostafa. An Najm means The Star.

Surah An Najm is the 53rd chapter of the Quran. It has 62 verses in it. It is classifed as a Meccan surah.

The surah discusses Mi’raj and the closeness of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to Allah. The surah also warns the disbelievers about the errors in judgement towards the message of the Quran.

“Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.” Surah Najm Ayat 32

Taqwa – Living the Main Purpose of Ramadan

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive.
