Is there any way for me to know if my loved one died Shaheed? What are the categories and rulings pertaining to them in the case they apparently die Shaheed?
Those considered Shaheed:
1. the one who dies of plague
2. the one who drowns
3. the one who dies of pleurisy
4. the one who dies of a stomach disease
5. the one who dies by fire
6. the one who dies under a falling building
7. the woman who dies in childbirth
8. the one who dies while protecting his property
9. the one who dies while defending his family or religion
