The Best Dua to Thank Allah

Here is the best dua you can say to thank Allah. It is recited by Saad Al Qureshi. You can find the English and Arabic translation.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ


“My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.”


اے پروردگار! مجھے توفیق عطا فرما کہ جو احسان تونے مجھ پر اور میرے ماں باپ پر کئے ہیں ان کا شکر کروں اور ایسے نیک کام کروں کہ تو ان سے خوش ہوجائے اور مجھے اپنی رحمت سے اپنے نیک بندوں میں داخل فرما

Taqwa is a major purpose for the month of Ramadan. The people of taqwa are those who do the things that they are commanded and avoid the things which Allah has made prohibitive. And evidently, to reach a state of taqwa requires vigilance, it requires patience and sincerity.
