Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad – A New Start (Special Folder)

Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad (migration to Madinah) was a very carefully planned journey. After the Quraysh’s attempt to kill Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), God gave him permission to leave Makkah. He chose Madinah to be their new home and a new start of the faith to flourish.

In this folder, Discovering Islam team compiled some of interesting articles and videos that highlight the hijrah events and lessons to learn from it.

Lessons from Prophet Muhammad’s Hijrah

Migration of the heart, or a hijrah to Allah, is a much greater and more fundamental journey we must all take. As Ibn Qayyim suggests, only in this journey, this leaving the familiar, does one begin to examine his own purpose.
